Overview

Whatever their personal circumstances and however complex the detail, most people will have three major needs;

1) A source of expert advice. We all recognise the importance of bringing in people with specialist skills and even the most knowledgeable of us will want to turn to someone for a second opinion.

2) Having a trusted adviser who understands your values, goals and aspirations and can create a personalised plan to help you achieve them.

3) Regular reviews to help ensure you stay on track to achieve your goals.

Our advisers develop long standing relationships with clients, working through good times and bad to help them stay on track to achieve their personal goals, however their circumstances change in the future.

We provide advice on a range of financial planning areas, including investments, pensions, insurance, mortgages and tax planning.

Because every client is different we offer a free initial consultation to discuss your personal cirucmstances and requirements. Please feel free to contact us.

Inheritance Tax

Inheritance Tax is the tax that is paid on your ‘estate’, chargeable at a current rate of 40%. Broadly speaking, this is a tax on everything you own at the time of your death, less what you owe. It’s also sometimes payable on assets you may have given away during your lifetime. Assets include property, possessions, money and investments. One thing is certain, careful planning is required to protect your wealth from a potential Inheritance Tax liability.

We provide advice on how to use exemptions, gifts into trust, life assurance and wills to help reduce the tax paid on your estate.

Levels and basis of taxation are not guaranteed and are subject to change.

Our investment advice is centred on you the individual. We create a tailor made, bespoke financial plan based around your goals, objectives and attitude to risk. This will involve products from the whole market.

As well as making an initial recommendation, in most cases we recommend regular reviews to help to ensure you remain on track to achieve your objectives.

Pensions

Saving for retirement is something that most of us delay for as long as possible. In reality, the sooner, you start paying into a pension, the higher your retirement income is likely to be. State provisions are unlikely to be enough to provide the standard of living you will require.

Many people have built up a number of pension schemes over a lifetime working with different employers.Existing pension schemes are often not managed to best advantage or in accordance with your wishes.

Our pension advisors conduct an independent financial review to establish what income is required in retirement, whether existing pension schemes are managed to best advantage and whether you need to take action to plug any shortfall in your provision.

Once a plan is in place our pension advisors recommend regular reviews to ensure your existing funds are being managed to best advantage and that you are on track to have the income you will need in retirement.

Mortgages

Choosing a mortgage is one of the biggest financial decisions you will make. The UK mortgage market is often bewildering, particularly in the current financial climate.

First time buyer, home mover, remortgaging, buy to let, shared ownership, second charge,  commercial finance… the list seems endless.

Yet what you want is relatively straight forward, to borrow money in the most cost effective and affordable way possible.

We take time to carefully assess every clients’ overall financial position to help ensure monthly repayments are affordable now and in the future before recommending a mortgage from the whole market.

Whatever your personal requirements, our advisors have the experience and expertise to help you make the right choices for your future.

THINK CAREFULLY BEFORE SECURING DEBTS AGAINST YOUR HOME. YOUR HOME MAY BE REPOSSESSED
IF YOU DO NOT KEEP UP REPAYMENTS ON A MORTGAGE OR ANY OTHER DEBT SECURED ON IT.

You may have to pay an early repayment charge to your existing lender if you remortgage.

A fee of up to 2% of the loan amount is payable on completion.
